Chotta Big Speaker! It is seriously small, fits in to half a palm. But my word it can deliver excellent sound. It connected effortlessly to my phone (I use a OnePlus One, Android phone). It came with some charge already so I was able to use it straight out of the box. There is a USB chargeing cable in the box along with the speaker.
I tested it for music, for a small office space, or even a small room in the house this would make an excellent speaker. It delivered good clear sounds, I tried Jazz, hip hop and bollywood, all three sounded perfectly fine. Of course it lacks in Bass, what do you expect for the size and price. The best you can do is keep it on a wooden shelf and close to a wooden wall. It fires from both sides so you should be able to generate a little bass.
The other interesting feature of this speaker ( I have Bose soundlink mini which is my primary music playing speaker) compared to other bluetooths is that it connects the telephone call through to the speaker. I was actually able to use it to make a conference call during a large meeting. This is certainly a super useful feature of the product and will differentiate this for me from all other speakers. This goes straight in to my bag and will be a constant companion.
A little about the packaging, excellent packing, came in an environment friendly type of box, needed just one slit to open it without any effort and the speaker is snugly packed inside. There is a little notch for the carrying pouch and the charging cable.
The pouch is made of nice thick material gives you some confidence that the speaker might withstand a minor fall in that pouch - No I have not tried that yet.
The build quality of the speaker seems pretty solid. You get a feel of metal from the speaker. There is a slot for an aux connection, if for some reason you dont want to use bluetooth, or if you are a closet dinosaur and still carry an old iPod, you can connect it to the speaker. The usual audio jack that is present on your phone is the one on the speaker and can be easily used.
All in all, this is a winner, I would expressely recommend it to anybody who needs to make calls on the move or wants to listen to music at a decent volume without the encumberance of lugging around heavy big speakers or paining the ears with headphones.
